Tweedmouth is in North Northumberland - on the south side of the river Tweed. The border town of Berwick-upon-Tweed is on the other side of the river. Berwick is a walled town of historical importance at the very top of England just a few miles from the border with Scotland. It has a railhead on the LNER east coast railway and has easy access to the A1 road - providing a route to Edinburgh in the north and Newcastle in the south.

Rosebank has easy walking access to Berwick Academy, Berwick Leisure Centre and Marks and Spencer Food Hall.
